The Virginia Beach Valor
The Virginia Beach Valor erased a four-run deficit Thursday to defeat the Edenton Steamers 7-5. The game-winning blow came in the top of the seventh when Kyle Flora hit a sacrifice fly, breaking a 5-5 tie and plating two runs for the go-ahead margin.
Wes Stubbe went 2-for-4 with three RBI, including a key double that helped tie the game at five in the fifth inning. The Valor showed patience at the plate, drawing nine walks, and ran wild on the bases with four stolen bases, two by Maison Nance.
On the mound, relievers Ty Woods, Colin Patterson, and Walt shut down the Steamers after starter Braydon Smith exited. Defensively, the Valor were flawless with zero errors.
For Edenton, Oliver Zohn homered to right field with two RBI, and both Zohn and Brayden Renfrow each had two hits on the night.

The Virginia Beach Valor dropped a 5-2 decision to the Zebulon Devil Dogs on Monday at Five County Stadium.
Zebulon struck first in the opening inning when Mustow grounded out to plate the game's first run. The Devil Dogs added to their lead in the third on a triple by Landy and a run-scoring single by Mustow, pulling further ahead of the Valor.
Brady Wilson took the mound for Virginia Beach, surrendering five hits and four runs over four innings while striking out four. Mitchell started for Zebulon, tossing two scoreless innings and allowing no hits, with three strikeouts and one walk.
Offensively, Joey Karpovich led the Valor with one RBI, going 1-for-3 at the plate. Brae Williams was the team's top hitter, collecting two hits in four at-bats. Maison Nance added two stolen bases, part of a four-steal effort for Virginia Beach on the day.
The Valor is back on the road again on Thursday May 28th at Edenton.

The Valor is made up of NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and NJCAA players from the State of Virginia and the Mid Atlantic region of the United States. The Valor plays other college summer league team within the state of Virginia, North Carolina, & South Carolina.
