Valor Game Postponed
Todays game vs the Virginia Blasters has been postponed due to extreme heat in the Tidewater area over the past few days. They Valor will be back in action on Wednesday July 8th as they take on the Morehead City Marlins of the Coastal Plain League.

Valor Breeze Past Tarboro River Bandits
The Virginia Beach Valor easily dispatched the Tarboro River Bandits on Thursday, 9-1.
Tarboro got on the board first when Mason Mcdougall's ground out plated a run in the bottom of the first. But the Valor answered in the top of the second, as Ryan Hummel's three-run homer to right field put Virginia Beach ahead for good, 3-1.
Brady Wilson started on the mound for the Valor, allowing six hits and one run over four innings with three strikeouts. Ty Woods, Braydon Smith, and George Chevalier combined to shut the door in relief. Ben McMillan took the loss for Tarboro, giving up five hits and five runs in four innings.
Hummel paced the offense with three RBIs, while Thomas Conrad and Colin Kim each added two hits. The Valor drew nine walks as a team — Mekah Hicks and Wes Stubbe led with two apiece — and stole six bases, with Hicks swiping two. Virginia Beach played clean defense, committing no errors and turning a double play.
Cooper Williamson had two hits to lead Tarboro, while Mcdougall drove in their lone run.

The Valor is made up of NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and NJCAA players from the State of Virginia and the Mid Atlantic region of the United States. The Valor plays other college summer league team within the state of Virginia, North Carolina, & South Carolina.
